Amplifon Hearing Aid Centers has openings for inside sales consultants in Chambersburg & Harrisburg, Pa. Our company, the sister company of Miracle-Ear, was founded 39 years ago and with 40 offices is the largest and most successful hearing aid company in the state. Our business is growing and with the aging of America we expect to grow at the rate of 20% per year for the next several years. We are a profitable, debt free and very stable company with a solid vision for our future.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated high achiever to make a professional income while at the same time managing your own store. In addition to providing all training materials and fees, we offer a $25K salary plus commissions and bonus, paid vacation & holidays and a lot of opportunity. We do not offer health insurance benefits. This position is an IN-OFFICE sales position in the local Wal-Mart store and the minimum hours are M-F 9a-6p.

Position Summary:

The Hearing Aid Dispenser is responsible for the identification and rehabilitation of hearing impairment including determining the appropriateness and benefit of amplification.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Provide both on and off-site hearing aid counseling, consultation and customer care.  Attend to both scheduled and walk-in patients.

·  Attend to walk-in patients requiring in office repairs or assistance with questions or problems. 

·  Sell hearing aids, accessories, including batteries, special products, ALD'S, or any other product available through company.

·  Maintain all  records and charts as specified by company.  Report test results to originating referral source or appropriate staff member for tracking and documentation.

·  Support store operations by conducting quality control analysis of incoming hearing aids

·  Review company clinical procedures, processes and systems and recommend improvements as necessary.

·  Achieve monthly and annual goals set by company.

·  Perform all services and duties in a manner consistent with company policies, procedures, processes, and quality standards.

·  Continue to develop professionally through attending continuing education opportunities and reading professional publications.  Review new or special testing techniques and products.

·  Provide support for corporate initiatives.

·  Assist with store organization and efficient operations.

·  Maintain inventory of hearing aid areas, equipment and supplies. Track and document the receipt of new or repaired hearing aids.

·  Back up Front Office Associate on an as needed basis.

·  Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

·  A high school diploma or GED

·  Professional sales training or relevant skills training.

·  Must be familiar with computerized office systems.

·  Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors.

·  Strong customer service orientation.

·  Good problem solving skills.

Physical Demands:

·  Must be able to maintain a high level of concentration even with numerous interruptions.

·  Must be able to lift boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds.

·  Must be able to spend a minimum of 8 hours a day providing patient care
