I am currently a surgical recruiter, or agent if you
will and this is an unreal opportunity for the RIGHT
candidate.....You must have the gift however....500 level sales
ability, strong CRM / HRIS skills, big vocab, a smile
and dialer, the hunger and passion to close big deals
and speak with confidence to elite surgeons and CEOs.
Strong drive and attention to detail a must. Computer
savvy a must. Experience in high level sales,
confidence in closing fortune 500 caliber people,
comfort in speaking to midlevel gate keepers and
working your way to a decision maker and the ability
to asses and adjust to each personality along the way.
All are necessary and key factors to success in this
industry.

 

There is base pay and huge commissions structure
topping at 30% of billings.
By the way top billers bill north of a million a year.
(300K+base)  


The way we work : we find deeply skilled physicians to
meet demanding criteria of unlisted opportunities. We
try and retain the highest skilled, zero malpractice
doctors with solid reputations and impeccable
credentials. We go through a deep credentialing
process and do background, clinical capability, case
work and referral checks. We work closely with the
client to make sure the surgeon is presented to the
right position with the appropriate skill set and if
there is a decision to accept the candidate then we
are paid a very handsome fee. Its a simple equation.

 

I decided to get involved in this business based
primarily due to a friend who I trust and (CFO at this
company) and a business plan I was involved in
concerning stem cell banking. This developed into
conversations with the CEOs of hospitals and finding
their need for neurosurgeons and radiologists, and the
demands placed on them to find and retain competent,
skilled, physicians in most functional  specialties.
Not to mention this niche I had no idea existed called locums,
and  the revenues generated by it.

I was the vice president  of a large international B2B
ecommerce company and was  "recruited into recruiting"
if you can imagine. They told me I would "be the Jerry McGuire of locums".

 I laughed but thought why not try it, the upside is huge
and I was ready so I made a move and now I am
a full time recruiter and we are making massive strides
 in the industry, hence the search.
