Location: Brooklyn, NY 11232 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Pay Rate: 60,000.00 - 72,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: BUSANLYST040208 TECHNISOURCE " A Subsidary of Spherion", has an exciting NEW PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY, in Brooklyn, New York for a BUSINESS ANALYST.For immediate consideration please email resumes to: nicolehenson@technisource.com Job Summary: The Business Analyst will perform a variety of complex technical and administrative tasks in ensuring that the ITS Development Department is successfully communicating with business users.  * Responsibilities include implementing ITS Development business analysis practices and procedures outlined in a formal Software Development Life Cycle.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Oversee business analysis and requirements gathering for requested ITS Development tasks and projects. * Assist in the creation, maintenance, and adherence to of various ITS Development standard documentation templates. * Proof reading of various technical documents * Participate in unit testing activities, evaluation, and validation of ITS Development software upgrades, bug fixes, and services. * Analyze discrepancies in service or performance of computer software and make recommendations for product or service updates. * Provide backup support for related positions as needed. * Perform related duties as assigned.Required Skills: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently. * Detail oriented. * Good organization skills * Good all around information systems knowledge.Required Education and Experience: * BA/BS required * 2 years of Information Systems experience.
