HR Generalist / Healthcare Recruiter

Harbor Medical Associates is a multi-specialty, multi-site medical practice on the South Shore. We are committed to the ideal that patient care comes first. We are currently seeking a professional to join our Human Resources team as a Recruiter.



Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle recruitment activities including developing recruitment strategies, creating effective sourcing to attract and retain top talent, attending job fairs, screening resumes and candidates, coordinating interview processes, conducting reference and background checks and recommending offers.



Develop an understanding of Harbor Medical Associates functional areas, business issues, business strategies and culture.



Partner with and build positive relationships with hiring managers providing them with support and guidance, to enable them to make effective decisions.



Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including, internet recruiting, direct sourcing and networking.



Effectively utilize applicant tracking system and implement enhancements or process improvements.



Develop, compile, and track key recruiting metrics such as "time to hire" and "cost per hire", as well as interpreting attrition data to develop and implement strategies for improvement.



Conduct or facilitate training/coaching sessions on the staffing process, interview techniques, and selection criteria.



Participate in related HR department projects as required.





 

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelors Degree



Minimum of 3-5 years recruiting experience, primarily in a health care environment



Demonstrated success in identifying and attracting top talent



Excellent written and verbal communication skills



Ability to develop consultative and influential relationships with managers within the organization



Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open positions and assignments simultaneously.



Working knowledge of Employment Law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and HIPPA.



Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
