HR Representative/Associate

Devereux is currently looking for a high-energy individual that has a passion for working in Human Resources. This is a full-time, Human Resources Representative/Associate position. This individual will work with all levels of employees, applicants, internal and external vendors and agencies. The primary responsibilities include management and education of employee benefits, worker’s compensation, employment law and JCAHO compliance in regards to HR related documentation. Additional responsibilities will include processing payroll (HR side), preparing and disseminating reports, assisting the Human Resource Manager, and providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

Required Skills: This position requires a thorough understanding of Human Resources, a demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, experience exercising a high degree of independent judgment, and outstanding organizational and detail orientation skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.  Experience with MS Office is a must and Oracle is strongly preferred.

Educational Requirements: A successful candidate will have a high school diploma or a GED. An Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field is strongly preferred.

Previous Experience Required: Minimum one year experience in Human Resources required; two to three years previous experience preferred. Prefer HR Assistant with benefits experience, or benefits assistant experience. Hospital or other health care experience a plus.
