HR Staffing Supervisor/Manager
This position is responsible for attracting, engaging, hiring, retaining and managing a team of qualified and reliable health screening professionals. This position will manage the hiring process, selection process, and scheduling process as well as staff retention and training. This position will also manage a team of full-time, part-time and contingent screening professionals, health educators as well as scheduling and administrative personnel.
Position Responsibilities:Interview, screen, and build a qualified applicant pool of screening professionals in targeted geographical areasImplement and monitor successful strategies for contacting, interviewing and selecting qualified candidatesDevelop and cultivate on-going relationships with current associates and applicant pool to generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified and reliable on-call health screening individualsEvaluate, assess, and select qualified candidates. Conduct reference checks on potential employees in accordance with HealthFitness policy and procedureCoordinate and develop on-going training procedures, ensure all initial and annual training requirements are met, enhance and/or modify current training procedures and ensure compliance standards are met and adhered toObtain feedback from event lead to evaluate the performance and areas of development for each associateDevelop, implement, and monitor a standard scheduling process to ensure all screening events are fully staffed in an efficient and timely manner.Ensure that staff scheduling is cost effective and within the scope of the client contract requirementsDevelop and implement an appraisal process for on-call screening associatesDevelop and implement a retention plan for screening professionals and on-call screenersDevelop performance standards and manage a staff that includes a scheduling coordinator, screening professionals, on-call screeners, health educators and recruiting/administrative coordinatorEnsure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws related to employmentOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field5+ years experience in staffing and human resources generalist management experience5+ years experience in interviewing, recruiting, screening and selection. Experience with event staffing and/or multi-state locations 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably with employees in multiple statesExperience in developing and maintaining recruitment contacts and pipelinesExperience delivering, organizing and coordinating staff development and trainingMust be proficient with State and Federal employment lawsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to interact with employees at all levelsExperience in the temporary staffing industry is a plusAbility to travel Computer proficiency
