Humana Inc. is currently hiring for Bilingual Spanish- Sales Account Advisor



As a sales account advisor you will: manage the installation of both new and renewal products, and support the Account Manager in customer relations management. You will also facilitate enrollment meetings and oversee the day-to-day resolution of employer and broker issues for the first 45 days of each contract. Develop and lead enrollment meetings for both new and renewal accounts Educate brokers and agency staff to ensure correct and timely completion of all enrollment materials Conduct monthly briefings for all newly effective employer accounts to educate customers about employer portal functions Role Essentials Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field Previous experience in group health benefits sales or very strong background in account management; preferably in the Health Insurance sector Valid state health insurance license Role Desirables Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field Previous experience with large and highly visible national accounts Knowledge of underwriting practices< Bilingual Spanish Additional Information Some travel is required, and hours may vary according to need.

The Account Executive leverages a consultative style in account management through the implementation of the strategic relationship management process. The individual will exemplify Humana's value proposition by prioritizing clients, implementing best-in-class renewal and enrollment, managing the customer intelligence process, and winning profitable business without undermining our value proposition.

Responsible for growth and retention of current clients, based on jointly established goals with the sales department. Assists the client with defining current and future needs and potential solutions through strategic problem solving and sensitivity to the client's needs. Assists the customer in the evaluation of options and choices for their business through product and industry education, national trend analysis, renewal forecasting and competitor knowledge. Advise and problem-solve implementation issues and communication/training needs that may result from increased business through new lines of coverage or new growth. Four year college degree or its equivalent in related business experience. Valid state health insurance license. Previous experience in account management and sales within the health insurance industry. Excellent presentation skills and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
