Health Care Senior Risk Management Consultant

The Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute (RM&PSI) was developed to meet the risk, quality, claims management and patient safety needs of the health care industry with a primary focus on clinical risk reduction, quality patient outcomes, education and claims management. Our goal is to support health care organizations, clinics, community health centers and providers in reducing medical error, assisting in regulatory compliance, and ultimately enhancing patient safety while controlling loss.


RM&PSI is seeking a Health Care Senior Risk Management Consultant in Issaquah, WA.

This position is a home based position and requires up to 50% travel.

This person will provide knowledgeable and experienced consultation, education and mentorship for insured and fee based clients.


Provides experienced consultation and educational services to health care clients in implementing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management and patient safety program.

An understanding of health care delivery, risk management and patient safety principles and related insurance systems is necessary for this position.




Requirements
Qualified candidates must have at least five years of health care, risk management/patient safety, and/or loss prevention experience as well as a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or RN degree. A Certification in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) is also recommended. Full Benefit package.
