Health Integration Manager **

Description
Health System Integration (HSI) Manager will function as the primary liaison between Terumo Medical Corporation and the major national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO). Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN). The position will be responsible for the implementation of departmental strategies in the targeted GPO/IDN segments. The Health Systems Integration Manager will work with regional managers, marketing teams as other departments as needed to further execute strategies and tactics for the targeted GPOs/IDNs.

The Health System Integration Manager position has a direct impact on Company revenue. Through maintaining outstanding professional relationships and long term agreements with GPO and IDN Accounts they ensure the profitability of the Business Unit and company

The integration of efforts will be very difficult since this position will need to facilitate cross-company and functional support to effectively perform all required duties. A high degree of initiative and interpersonal skill is required

This position reports to the Sr. Health Systems Integration Manager

Position Requirements
1. Full profit and loss responsibility for sales and margin within the targeted GPO's and IDN's.
2. Responsible for management of selling and administrative budget including travel and promotion
3. Develops annual business plan for each targeted Account addressing, specific growth strategies, significant contract opportunities, pricing, member-specific tactics to be coordinated with the field sales management, business initiatives and marketing programs designed to provide substantial growth opportunities.
5. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the inner dealings of targeted Accounts including the contracting policies and practices and serve as ongoing resource with Terumo as regards IDN Account business practices
6. Handle GPO specific customer complaints (complaints that originate from within the Account or IDN) and customer service needs and liaises with field sales management as needed to resolve any conflicts with respect to sales, deliveries, credit approval, collections or other issues.
7. Assists with the tracking and monitoring of appropriate membership databases to ensure that analysis based proposals are consistent and that all commitments are documented.
8. Works with the appropriate membership councils and committees of the targeted Accounts to ensure that Terumo is visible and that the field sales organization understands the role and significance of the committee members
9. Develop sales forecast and implementation plans as needed..
10. Works with contract managers within the targeted GPO/IDN Accounts to position Terumo as needed as well as to communicate Terumo's strategies and intentions.
11. Work with the Terumo Regional Managers in other Business Units and companies to explore synergies and opportunities in an effort to create broader and more encompassing contracts.
12. Provide training to field sales organization as needed to ensure that a high degree of knowledge exists in regard to the GPO / IDN account at the field sales level. Act as the primary resource for the field sales management as regards to Key Accounts.
13. Attend various GPO / IDN / Trade conventions, meetings and shows to promote products opportunities.
14. Work with the contract managers within the GPO / IDN Accounts to maximize the Account-level marketing of the Terumo agreements and contracts.
15. Work with the GPO / IDN account field sales and/or service delivery teams as needed.

This position exists in an office environment. Extensive travel (60%), is required.

Educational Requirements
Undergraduate degree or higher in business, finance, marketing or related field with competent computer skills and knowledge of standard business software. Previous sales and/or marketing with corporate account experience focused on interventional or physician preference products. Proven track record in regard to contract development and negotiation in the health care GPO and IDN account arena. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to create, review and negotiate contracts.
