CFG is now interviewing qualified Management level candidates for an opportunity to work in a correctional nursing environment in an administrative role as the Health Service Administrator. All interested candidates must have an interest to work within a correctional institution with a male & female adult population. Qualified candidates will have solid management experience. Corrections experience preferred but not required.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of the health service unit

  and assigned staff including RNs, LPNs MAs, MDs;
- Coordinate the health care delivery system with other institutional

  functions;
- Develop healthcare policies and procedures;
- Provide administrative support for the Medical Director;
- Meet with institutional authority or designee on a regular basis to

  optimize healthcare services within the institution;
- Provide administrative support for activities of the Medical Audit

  Committee;
- Coordinate implementation of Annual In-service Training Program and

  Quality Improvement program with assistance of Director of Nursing as

  needed;
- Ensure proper orientation is provided to all new employees;
- Develop and maintain a personnel staffing schedule to meet contract

  requirements;

- Coordinate with hospital administrators the delivery of services at

  hospitals outside the institution;
- Prepare and submit monthly statistical data and other required reports

  to the Institutional Authority and Corporate office;
- Manage the financial performance of the contract site by evaluating 

  and approving all expenditures before payment, and ensuring that

  cost- effective controls are established and operating without

  sacrificing quality of health care;
- Develop and maintain contract services budget;
- Manage monthly reports including but not limited to Budget,

  Operations and Staffing.

 

Requirements:

State of New Jersey RN License;

Minimum of 2 years management experience relative to healthcare setting;

Must conform to security clearance standards of institution;

Corrections experience preferred.
