Health Services Manager / 238 Position Description:Health Services Manager• The Health Services Manager takes responsibility for ensuring that Clinical Supervisors, Health Coaches, and Care Coordinators responsibly provide comprehensive services and supports; • Supervises and problem-solves with staff on clinical and contract-specific issues; • Recruits, trains, evaluates and delegates work; and works closely with management team;• The Health Services Manager, through the staff, monitors ongoing disease management and case management plans with consumers and providers; • Ensures that Health Coaches and Care Coordinators are trained in areas for which they are hired and maintains adequate clinical staffing ratios; • In addition, the Health services Manager, assisted by the Medical Director, will take the lead in assisting the governmental client with development and ongoing refinement of screening tools and procedures used by providers, State agencies and APS. Education Requirements Registered Nurse with active Missouri license with BS or MS in Nursing PreferredExperience• 5 years demonstrated, progressively responsible experience in supervising, preferably disease management and clinical care coordination services;• Excellent clinical assessment skills;• Strong verbal and written communication skills;• Public sector and Medicaid experience required; • Knowledge of principles, ethics and precepts of medical health care.
