Description Special Project - software migration project in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry!This should be a LONG term project for a large national company!$22.00 / hr to $27.00 / hr, maybe more for STRONG experience!Analyst to support benefit network product/pricing, including the intricate details of benefit pricing and claims adjudication, including functionality of adjudication platforms, business rules, and the implementation process. Review and deciphers contract pricing, discounts and cost comparisons. Evaluate and interprets data from adjudication platforms.Our client is one of the nation's leading pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies.  They provide comprehensive prescription benefit management services to over 2,000 health plans, including corporations, managed care organizations, insurance companies, unions and government entities. With net revenue of approximately $37 billion (including approximately $5.8 billion of retail co-payments) in 2006, they are also one of the largest PBMs.Requirements Experience with claims adjudication and pricing details in a pharmacy benefit management or managed care setting. Advanced skills with MS Excel and Access. Experience building AS/400 macros is desired. Ability to work well with complicated operational processes. Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability in unstructured situations. Team player, creative thinker and leader.
