These consultants have planned and built clinical departments of all kinds in hospitals and clinics of all sizes from rural facilities to major metropolitan centers.Healthcare Clinical Applications Consultant, Eastern RegionRequisition: 523Location: New York or Eastern Region General Purpose Provide in-depth understanding of clinical environments and product knowledge to the HMI sales, design, marketing and R&D organization, dealer network, customers and A & D community. Educate internal and external customers in order to expand the market for existing clinical products and ensure appropriate product applications. Manage workflow analysis and clinical product specifications for specific clinical customers. Essential Functions Provide clinical application, product knowledge, workflow analysis and customer services in a variety of settings. Participate in corporate, regional and customer presentations and training concerning clinical environments, applications and products. Act as the technical professional resource to the organization and dealer network concerning clinical practices and issues, clinical work environments needs and product applications. Participate in the development of sales, planning and product literature to ensure clinical use and product specification accuracy. Act as a field-based resource for market and product research. Recommend new products for development as well as maintenance and enhancements for existing products Be an active development team member especially in defining product criteria, design development, beta site testing and product evaluation processes. Direct the implementation of customer in-servicing and clinical product pilot programs. Participate in trade shows, customer site visits and client trips to corporate showrooms. Assist in the planning and organization of corporate and dealer showrooms and trades show booths. Manage territory coverage and budget Provide end user customer services in the following areas: Remain current on new healthcare philosophies and techniques for state-of-the-art product applications.Home office based position; Northeast location preferredMinimum Requirements Registered nurse (RN) required Bachelor's degree in nursing required Five years of progressive clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred Ideally minimum five years experience managing health care personnel; some supervisory experience required Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, including making presentations to groups of professionals Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and build/maintain effective business relationships 50-60% regional travel Computer competency with proficiency in MS Office suite Herman Miller Inc, Fortune 100 Best Companies To Work For, 2008 Are you interested in work environments and what makes them tick?
