Healthcare Marketer

Job Purpose:

Increase patient census by educating healthcare referral sources about our home health care and hospice services.  Develop mutually beneficial relationships with hospital and facility discharge planners. 

Duties:

* Services existing accounts, obtains referrals and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential referral sources.

* Focuses marketing efforts by studying existing and potential referral sources.

* Meets with patients and their families to explain our home health/hospice services.

* Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, and weekly schedules.

* Promptly delivers 'Thank You' gifts and notes when referral is received.

* Retrieves patient information including copying of charts when requested by facility or hospital.

* Functions as a liaison between agency staff and facilities, hospitals, doctors offices, etc.



* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
