Healthcare Sales Representative in Greater Richmond!

VITAS Innovative Hospice Care is the nation’s leading provider of hospice care. Our caregiver teams provide compassionate care for terminally ill patients and their families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. The VITAS Representative is an outside sales professional whose primary function is to develop early and appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining business partnerships with referral sources.  You will identify patient referral sources, present the VITAS approach to end-of-life care, and build relationships with physicians, hospitals and long term care facilities.  The ability to recognize the differences between each of these environments and tailor your approach to your audience is essential for success in these roles.  These positions require a minimum of 2 years healthcare/pharmaceutical/medical sales experience and a BS/BA.  Licensed RN and/or experience in long term care industry a plus.  Demonstrated sales and marketing achievements in the designated geographic area preferable.  Familiarity with local referral sources is a plus. VITAS offers a competitive base salary as well as an incentive plan.  You will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health/dental/vision, Rx, life insurance, STD/LTD, 401k with company match, a very generous paid time off plan, tuition reimbursement, EAP, employee discounts and mileage reimbursement.  Visit our career site at www.vitas.com to read about our history, our growth, and the many ways in which we’ve made a difference! EEO/AA/D/M/F/V
