Healthcare Software Products Implementation Manager

Basic Job Requirements:Development Project Plan for implementation of software products.Ensure projects are implemented on-time and within budget Ensure IHS Operations departments are able to meet all customer requirements within established standards. Work with clients to determine business requirements.Ensure business requirements are translated into comprehensive system and operations functions. Validate that all requirements are satisfied upon implementation. Developing accurate and approved requirements will reduce the development time, cost and contain the scope of the project. Coordinate and manage internal and external parties to deliver the solution within the required timeline for the client. Determine implementation requirements for new programs or conversion related projects and facilitate communication with Business Development and other stakeholders to ensure requirements can be implemented in accordance with contractual obligations or project charter. Facilitate issue resolution, user acceptance testing, training, etc. related to the operation implementations. Attend client meetings to review the project against the plan. Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders.Accountability for end to end process.

 Qualifications/Education Required:BA/BS or equivalent work experience is required. Medicare (MAPD, RAPS, MMR, TRR, Premium Billing, Claims Processing) background. Knowledge of project management and system development methodology, from feasibility to implementation of medium to complex projects. Proven experience in Project Management (Project Management certification preferred) 5+ years project management skills/discipline in work planning, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management with complex IT projects. End to end project management experience in Software Development or Business Operations projects Ability to read and analyze detailed Technical Requirement Documents and the Technical Design Specifications. Experience implementing vendor software. Experience with major systems integration and migration projects. Excellent analytical skills as applied to business operations and supporting systems Strong team building and coordination abilities with the interpersonal skills necessary to influence others and gain consensus across multiple functions and organizations to complete project activities Ability to independently interface with business units as well as vendors or service providers. Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical writing in support of business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc. Meeting facilitation, training, and presentation skills Demonstrated skills at developing and motivating others Proven experience in Microsoft's Project, Excel Word and Visio required. Strong communication skills internally and externally, at senior levels Strong presentation skills and negotiating skills essential Expertise in time management Attention to detail is essential
