High-Risk OB Nurses

Healthcare is changing and I want to be on the leading edge...Matria Healthcare is a leading provider of comprehensive disease management, health enhancement and high risk pregnancy management programs for employers and health programs across the U.S.  We are seeking RNs with high risk OB experience to join our Sunrise, FL office.POSITION SUMMARY Provides skilled nursing, patient education, individualized patient care and care coordination both telephonic and in the home according to policy and procedure. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES  Ø Respect each patient’s right during the provision of care or service and conduct business relationships in an ethical manner. Ø Collect, analyze, and make decisions regarding care based upon the analysis of information obtained. Ø Formulate, maintain, and support a patient specific care or service planning process as the result of proper assessment. Ø Individualize patient assessments based upon care/services provided and patient need. Ø Implement planned care or services according to procedure and policy. Ø Modify the planned care or services based upon reassessment, change in orders, the patient’s need for further care or services, and the achievement of identified goals. Ø Assure interventions respect and encourage the patient’s ability to make choices and develop and maintain a sense of achievement. Ø Provide care or services according to physician’s or another authorized individuals’ orders. Ø Educate patients’ families in a systematic approach promoting patient understanding of treatment/services, health status/ coping ability and patient and family involvement in the continuum of care or services. Ø Facilitate care coordination among internal and external practitioners. Ø Provide clinical care services according to procedure/policy. Ø Maintain competency on all services including set-ups, patient education, equipment, and supplies for the provision of care. Ø Maintain competency in the appropriate use of the computerized clinical system. Ø Provide care to assigned caseload in a timely and efficient manner. Ø Maintain clinical records according to procedure and policy. Ø Maintain knowledge and comply with Matria procedure and policy. Ø Participate in continuously measuring, assessing and improving performance of clinical and other processes within the center. Ø Emergency preparedness plan may require after hours opening of the center to manage patient needs. Ø Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned according to policy and procedure. Ø Provides clinical support and conduct marketing activities as directed. Ø Participate as an active team member: attend team and center meetings or education in-services.   Ø Maintain courteous and professional manner at all times. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Ø Registered nurse with minimum of three years high-risk perinatal/obstetrical nursing experience required. Ø Ability to interact well with physicians, patients, case managers, other healthcare providers, and others is essential.Ø BSN preferred  Ø Current FL nursing license required Come join our team!  We offer great benefits with a collaborative work environment.  Hours of operation include daytime hours on weekdays with weekend rotation.  Please email your resume to CORSJH631758@net-apply.com  or fax to (954) 318-5863.  EOE www.Matria.com Matria Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer Position Information Job Title: High-Risk OB Nurses Company: Matria Healthcare, Inc.
