About the OpportunityOur Phoenix practice has an immediate opportunity for Histotechnicians to join our 2nd and/or 3rd shift team members. The qualified candidates will accurately performs a variety of routine and specialized histology techniques and procedures. Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; • A.S. degree in Histology is preferred; • H.T. and/or H.T.L. (ASCP) or equivalent experience and training; and • Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and have a positive attitude. Qualified candidates will be able to differentiate tissues for appropriate embedding, cutting and staining. Ability to cooperate and work with others, make technical decisions, communicate effectively, demonstrate an interest in professional development and an ability to define and resolve problems.
