To provide occupational therapy services for clients in the Home Health Program. Responsible for instruction and follow through with primary VN, Home Health Aide or caring person in the home, consultation to physical therapists, speech therapists and registered nurses. Responsible for equipment used in performing occupational therapy. Evaluates clients upon physician referral to determine clients' present level of performance. Identifying client's therapy needs and developing long and short term goals to meet those needs. Obtain any additional physician's orders needed to achieve the stated goals. Registered in the American Occupational Therapy Association. Graduate of a program in Occupational Therapy approved by the Council on Medical Education of American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Occupational Association.
