Home Health Director of Nursing

CareGivers America is a medical company providing three lines of business; home health, private duty, and medical staffing.  With seven offices in Northeast Pa. and one office in New York the company commands a sizeable market in all three business lines.  The growth of the company has been dependent on quality staff. 

 

Presently we are a seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to continue the growth of the home health agency.  This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of the agency as well as supervision of staff, and profit/ loss.  This is a unique position to an individual with home health experience and who wants to be a part of a growing business. Strong interpersonal skills and management skills are required.  A strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and Managed care.  Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Needs to be able to supervise all patient care activities to assure compliance with current standards of accepted nursing and medical practice.
