Hospital Services Coordinator

OneLegacy, a donate life organization, has an immediate Career opportunity for a Full-Time Hospital Services Coordinator in our Sherman Oaks offices.

 

Responsibilities include representing OneLegacy in assigned hospitals to offer OneLegacy’s services to hospital, staff, families, and community with the goal of gaining hospital support and ownership of organ and tissue donation and facilitating the provision of family support services and increasing conversion of potential donors. The HSC will assess attitudes toward donation and will identify means to enhance their understanding and support of donation; provide referral response, family support and approach at assigned hospitals; and will ensure excellent relationships are fostered between OneLegacy and the hospital. The HSC has primary accountability for hospitals’ organ and tissue donation performance.

 

Qualified candidates must have prior front line sales, communication, personal counseling, crisis assistance experience in service industry, such as healthcare, counseling, education, with an emphasis in long-term, relationship-focused activities. Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills required, with recent demonstrated experience showing the ability to work with diverse cultural and socioeconomic groups and individuals. A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is also required. Candidates must be able to successfully pass the background screening process.
