Human Resources Manager
This position is located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Your salary requirements must be provided along with your resume to be considered for this position.
Apollo Health Street is a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions to the healthcare industry. We provide our solutions to healthcare providers such as hospitals and physician practices and to payers such as insurers and third party administrators. In addition to providing revenue cycle solutions, we also provide information technology and strategic support services to our clients as well as to healthcare information technology companies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is involved with a business unit of Apollo Health Street as a strategic business partner at all levels of the business.
· Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all professionals; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
· Extensive recruiting at all levels; including entry level to senior management.
· Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
· Conducts new hire orientations.
· First point of contact regarding policy interpretation and employee relations issues.
· Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of the department
· Maintain integrity of Human Resource Information System and compiles reports from database.
· Processes all new hires
· Primary point of contact for written and verbal employment verifications
· Approves job requisitions for Apollo Health Street, posts open positions, source candidates, reviews resumes, prescreens candidates, schedules interviews, checks references and runs background checks, extends employment offers and creates offer letters.
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration
· Extensive experience recruiting at all levels; entry level to Sr. Management; healthcare experience preferred
· Knowledge of New Jersey employment practices
· Knowledge of HRIS systems.
· Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
· Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, activities and deadlines.
· Ability to develop relationships at all levels.
· Ability to work positively and productively in fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
· Five to seven years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist role.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
