Humanities in Medicine Coordinator

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, has an immediate,full-time opening for a Humanities in Medicine Coordinator. The qualified candidate will: Oversee contracted volunteer performers/artists and support staff; Develop, plan, and implement Humanities programs in conjunction with appropriate staff; Assist in identifying local arts affiliates to source performing artists in the greater Phoenix community; Have primary accountability for developing reports, presentations, and proposals as needed to promote and maintain activities.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required, however a candidate with alternate combinations of education and

experience will be considered. Three years experience working in community humanities/arts program coordination and knowledge of the various art types in the arts community is required. Demonstrated skills in budget management, record keeping, database management, and computer/office skills is also required. Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills essential.
