RYAN is a professional services firm currently holding several prime and sub-contracting contracts with commercial and federal clients. We provide business solutions in the areas of Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehouse, Web Application Development, LAN Support, Help Desk/Desktop Support, and Database and System Administration. Additionally, we provide expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse by supporting applications such as Oracle, Cognos, and Business Objects. We also provide expert and responsive financial data management services to clients with mission-critical information systems. RYAN has extensive experience integrating databases and applications into hybrid systems that utilize Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, and MySQL in open systems (UNIX, Linux), Windows, and Web environments.
RYAN Consulting Group’s Client Sales Reporting Team is looking for a Hyperion technologist to to develop and implement solutions that meet the reporting needs of a 5000+ person US Affiliate Sales organization using various technologies available. This technologist will also work closely with the Demand IT Support (COE), Demand IT Architecture, Global Data Management, EIS and various external service providers (ESP).

 

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

 

1. Analyze, design, and deploy solutions and/or services to support the US Affiliate following LSEF/CSQ standards

2. Serve as a subject matter expert in the analysis, design, and deployment of sales reporting solutions

3. Actively work with Demand IT COE, EIS and other suppliers that support our solutions (facilitate knowledge transfer, assist in troubleshooting, provide input into Change Requests, etc.)

4. Actively participate in the implementation of the technology roadmap

5. Partner with Test Coordinator to assure thorough testing of applications

 

 

Qualifications & Skills Required:

 

Bachelor's or higher level degree or equivalent in related discipline or equivalent technical work experience.  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, interacting with both technical and business organization

 

• Creating  and maintaining OLAP cubes using Hyperion 9.3.0.1/MDL

•Hyperion Web Analysis

• Data Modeling Experience

• Hyperion EIS (Essbase Integration Services)

• Writing MaxL scripts

• ESSBASE Aggregate Storage Option (ASO)

• Essbase Excel Add-In or Smartview for Office

• ETL tool: Informatica

• Data Modeling concepts and MDL

•Extensive experience on Unix (Solaris) Platform  and UNIX Scripting (K-Shell or C -Shell)

• ORACLE 10g Skills, SQL Plus

• Working knowledge of IBM Webspehre 6.0

• Essbase partitioning, optimization knowledge is a huge plus.
