INTERNAL AUDIT SPECIALIST

Cambridge Health Alliance is a nationally recognized, award-winning health care system that serves the residents of Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro-North region. It is comprised of The Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, Whidden Memorial Hospital, the Cambridge Public Health Department, more than 20 primary care practices and Network Health - a statewide managed Medicaid health plan. Works closely with the Chief Compliance Officer/Director of Internal Audit to develop and implement the Cambridge Health Alliance annual internal audit plan. Conducts internal audits according to the work plan established by the CCO/IA. Assists in the development of the annual risk assessment. Works with CHA managers to support strengthening internal controls in their areas of responsibility. Maintains a current knowledge of regulations and internal audit best practices.Please apply through our website www.challiance.org Bachelors degreeThree years of related experience, including related health care experience, and/or auditing experienceInternal Audit certification preferred.Knowledge of Internal Audit professional standards, COSO framework for risk assessment and internal controls, and internal audit best practices.Knowledge of academic medical center and health plan operations and financial management.Strong analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Internet research skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex organizational environment.
