EBMS, a nationally-recognized Third Party Administrator dedicated to assisting employers throughout the United States with healthcare cost containment is seeking an IS Database Analyst-Report Designer in our corporate office.

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

 

The purpose of this position is to provide partner integration, data analysis, and reporting support to EBMS. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Summary:Analyzes, designs, and develops methods of reporting various pieces of data to internal and external clients.Works with Business Analysts to identify solutions to data reporting challenges.Works with Database Architects to further enhance the Data Warehouse by understanding what additional data needs to be added.

 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly internal and external scheduled reports run successfully.Continue to build additional reports as needed by internal and external clients.Be available to support our internal team and external clients as they analyze data.Maintain complete documentation of all processes and procedures in designated documentation library.Other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

High school diploma or GED & one to three years experience in a related position or field

OR

College degree in MIS or Computer Science.

 

 

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as SQL, .NET, or others.Proficiency in MS SQL, MS Access, and Windows as well as an understanding of the concepts behind relational files and databases.Must have good interpersonal skills to facilitate problem understanding and resolution.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to work on PC/CRT for extended periods.
