IS Project/Operations Manager

Ephraim McDowell Health has an immediate need for an Information Service Project/Operations Manager.  Ephraim McDowell Health serves more than 146,000 residents from six counties in central Kentucky.  At the core of the system is Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, a 187-bed, not for profit hospital that was established more than 110 years ago.  The hospital is located 35 miles south of Lexington.

 

The IS Project/Operations Manager will be responsible for management and administration of mid and large scale computer systems, including specification, selection, installation and maintenance.  Develops and manages the project delivery process that allows the team to ensure successful delivery of all projects in a timely fashion.  Supervises programming and analysis staff.  Accountable for operations of the unit 24 hours/7 days a week.

 

A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.  Four year Networking and TCP/IP experience.  Four years MS Windows NT Server system administration experience.  Clinical health care and Meditech experience preferred.
