They act as internal consultants working on a high priority capability initiatives.Primary Responsibilities: Design and record detailed business requirements documents and process flows requiring a base knowledge of process design techniques. Create policies to guide the process design. Create procedures to support the operational resources. Develop organizational design to support the process. Other Possible Responsibilities: Diagnostic assessment of current state processes and results. Requirements gathering through a variety of approaches, including interviews and focus groups. Performance measurement design. Job level organization/job design. Systems requirements development and test case development. Planning, testing, and monitoring initiative rollout and adoption support. Act as a change agent to develop and implement best practices throughout the organization. Support project leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the business application tools and process solutions.Qualifications: Well-developed interpersonal skills used to influence the behavior of others. Ability to convey complex thoughts, both written and oral, in clear, concise and timely fashion. Openly and actively communicates information. Hold herself / himself mutually accountable for the teams performance. Build and leverage a network of experts within and external to the Process Organization to supplement one's own expertise. Function effectively in a virtual team environment. Learn new concepts quickly and apply them in the course of their work. MBA, BS or BA and combination of skills and experience in the health insurance industry. Operational knowledge of sales force automation tools, particularly of the overall workflow and business process intersections. Ability to travel approximately 20%.  Travel locations and frequency will vary, depending on project. Has participated in process improvement projects. Has process design knowledge and understanding of process reengineering concepts. Demonstrated ability to work against a plan and meet deadlines. Detail oriented and analytical. Strong written and verbal business communication skills. Ability to complete work assignments and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment. Ability to build strong, credible relationships.
