Aligned to the business groups, this area is responsible for delivering, through technology, on the business agenda, while driving economies of scale through leveraging applications and people. Primary Responsibilities: Involved in the definition, management, and implementation of significant technology focused projects. Focuses on IT projects, not for use as project management in non-IT roles. Positions are business specialists and technology generalists that manage, direct and interface with business clients. Align technology solutions with business strategies, working primarily with senior management. Proactively identify opportunities, conduct analyses, needs assessments, cost/benefit assessments and broker other IS services. Includes those involved in release management. Reviews the work of others. Develops innovative approaches. Sought out as expert. Serves as a leader/mentor.Qualifications: Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them. Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues. Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions. Performs complex conceptual analyses. Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement. Forecasts and plans resource requirements. Authorizes deviations from standards.
