Accurate business requirements are critical to the success of the project. The department’s primary projects pertain to data warehousing and the Oracle Financials.  Primary Responsibilities: Developing innovative approaches to complex business problems Partnering with business customer to ensure completeness of discovery and business requirements Evaluating Business Requirements and preparing detailed Technical Specifications required for Technical Design   Understanding data warehouse structures, data modeling and ETL processes Developing and maintaining analysis models Providing accurate feedback to tasks and timelines Identifying and communicating issues and risks Coordinating and conducting system analysis specification walkthroughs with Business Owners and Design/Development Team Securing sign off from Business Sponsor on final documentation of system requirements Maintaining and assuring adherence to development standards for the systems analysis process and related artifacts Participating in and supporting technical application design process to ensure accurate translation of analysis specifications into technical design specifications Working with development and QA teams to resolve defects discovered during testing Serving as leader/mentor to junior team members Qualifications: Extensive IT Systems Analyst experience Extensive Data Warehouse experience Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies Data profiling experience required Strong knowledge of SQL Oracle or mainframe DB2 is required Oracle Financials experience preferred Experience working with off-shore teams required Healthcare insurance experience preferred Six Sigma training is useful Excellent documentation skills required - be prepared to give samples Undergraduate degree or equivalent experienceDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere:  equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
