The Technical Lead for the eCommerce Solutions for the Voice/IVR Portal will be
responsible for developing and maintaining complex voice solutions.
Responsibilities include interfacing with other IT and Business partners to
understand and influence requirements, design, development, implementation and
support of technical solutions built by vendors and BSC resources. In addition
the role includes: working with business to understand and provide the
appropriate technical approach and specifications collaborating with architects
implement and enforce compliance with Enterprise Architecture directives
enforcing the SDLC across all IT and business partners working with QA,
Performance testing and Release Management teams to ensure quality
implementation of solutions working with project managers and business to manageproject time-lines and plans conducting design & code reviews leading
technical work done by multiple vendors using onshore/offshore resources
trouble-shooting mission critical problems under time bound situations Thisperson must have demonstrated the ability to lead design and development
activities on concurrent complex projects with blended and offshore teams. Be
able to synthesize complex data/information, and lead complex technicalimplementations on plan. Ability to matrix manage/organize others with the ITorganization in order to get work done quickly. Experience in a large, complexorganization or corporate structure environment required. Excellent
communication skills and strong ability to work effectively with the businessand technical people. Experience with iterative development life cyclemethodologies and application of those principles. Experience with J2EE, Web
Services & service-oriented architecture. Experience with Java IDE toolssuch as Rational Application Developer, or Eclipse. Experience with IBM Rational
Java development software products with knowledge of Unified Process methodologyand UML notation. Ability to monitors on-going team performance, communicatesexpectations and results on a regular basis. Monitors and reports on progress incompleting projects and accomplishing goals. Experience with WebsphereApplication Server and other IBM technologies are required Builds strongpartnership with business partners and team Strong communication skills, both


written and verbal Teamwork - demonstrated ability to build partnerships andmaintain cohesive relationships Demonstrates role model leadership behavior andhas the ability to influence change. Bachelor's degree and seven years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Familiarity with network communications technology. Comprehensiveknowledge of English Language Programming or current generation programminglanguages. Knowledge of operating systems and systems hardware maintenance;
