The Imaging Researcher implements and leads research in medical imaging and physiological modeling. The Imaging Researcher will perform imaging experiments, analyze data, prepare manuscripts, assist researchers in the conduct of their imaging experiments, and instruct/mentor students. Performs all duties in accordance with NVCI’s mission, vision and values of Discovery, Excellence, Collaboration, Compassion, Integrity, and Stewardship.
Bachelor degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bio Engineering or related field. Graduate degree preferred in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bio Engineering or related field. Experience with C/C ++, MATLAB or IDL, and Linux/Unix OS. Must possess experience with image processing, control systems, and/or pulse sequence programming. Must be self motivated and excited about working in an interactive research team environment. Must have good writing and communications skills. Must be able to work independently and professionally
