Implementation Manager/Project Manager

Position Objective:



This position is responsible for managing product implementation after completion of a sale to client. The Implementation Manager is the primary contact for the customer, liaison for product department heads and serves as the customers advocate.



Primary Job Functions:Develop and follow the project  timelines (plan, define and determine resources required to achieve realistic deadlines defined in the workplan. Act as primary external (with client) and internal (within the organization) contact for the implementation project. Ensure that the correct resources are assigned to the project and handle certain responsibilities as appropriate to skills. "Own" all issues that arise at the site and to ensure that they are being addressed by the appropriate person / or task force. Personally resolve these issues when feasible and time efficient. Ensure Medassets meets all its deadlines and tasks identified in the project workplan. Manage the customer expectations and liaison with the Hospital Project Manager to ensure that the project is moving forward and meeting agreed upon deadlines. Complete weekly status and issue reports to client and communicate findings with team members,  Obtain sign on, modification, and sign off for all specifications and deliverables identified in the contract. Monitor service and quality of the implementation. Coordinate the transition from implementation department to Client Relations support from Establish and maintain relationship with implementing customers.

Seeks selling opportunities and provides feedback to sales. Review and analyze contracts for accuracy and understanding of customer products.

Develop and maintain database of customer projects/products.

Provide training to customers regarding new product releases.





Minimum Knowledge and Qualifications:

Strong Project management knowledge and experience.

Healthcare/Hospital;health insurance/TPA; revenue cycle in hospital or equivalent.

Industry terminology data flow and related knowledge required.



Ability to discuss healthcare Purchasing, CDM, CPT, DIAG Codes at a high level with potential customers and suppliers.



Intermediate - MicroSoft Word, Excel Access

Bachelor's Degree. Min 2 years exp.
