In Home Health Care Director of Operations

Maristone Senior Living of Tennessee is adding Home Care to our array of services in order to provide the senior living population of Middle Tennessee the opportunity to remain independent as long as possible.  We are seeking a self motivated, goal oriented and caring professional with the ability to direct the operations of Maristone In Home Health Care Agency located in Franklin, Tennessee.

 
The selected candidate will be directly responsible for the development of the home health program, adhering to financial / marketing plans and provide continuous quality improvement by building strong employee customer and community relations.



Provides care to assigned clients in a caring, safe and efficient manner; and is responsible to perform the following according to Maristone Senior Living mission, agency standards, procedures and individualized client care plans.

Demonstrates/encourages opportunities for carrying out mission. Formulates and works within annual budget; recruits, hires, and staffs work area at appropriate levels. Acquire resources and means that promote a quality work environment; ensures quality performance and conformance with regulation and laws. Keeps abreast of and implements new programs or practices. Accepts accountability for activities under direct control; plans and organizes work with and for department. Promotes cooperative working relationships within and between In Home Care and Assisted Living division.



Requirements:
You must have the ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities; demonstrated knowledge of supervisor skills; knowledge of basic Home Health nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered; 



Education and Experience: Must possess current RN license in good standing in Tennessee Bachelor, or Masters degree in healthcare or business preferred Minimum ten years home health experience Minimum five years health care leadership and administrative experience High energy and entrepreneurial spirit required


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Direct and supervise staff members and associates. Be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning and assigning work. Be responsible for ensuring complete compliance for state and federal guidelines. Be responsible for ensuring all staff maintain clinically proficiency, maintain credentials, and the delivery of quality healthcare. Complete evaluations of staff performance. Understand home health billing/reporting system. Meet budgeted admissions, revenue and expenses.

 

Will report to the CEO of Maristone Senior Living.
