Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The registered professional nurse assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care in an ambulatory unit according to unit policies and procedures. Also directs and guides patient teaching activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned units.

Current Maine RN License, ONS Certification preferred, IV Certification required, BCLS Certification required, Chemocertification or Biotherapy Certification requiredAssociate's degree, 1 year but less than 3 years, with oncology training/experience preferred, Assessment skill, communication skills.
