Infusion Nurse Specialist - RN (Home Infusion)

We are seeking infusion nurse specialists.  Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available.

 

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations/Administrator or Assistant Administrator, evaluates patient’s eligibility for employer’s programs, instructs patients and families in infusion therapy administration and delivers direct patient care as required.  Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years recent hospital or homecare experienceDemonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumpsGood patient teaching abilities with previous teaching/training experience related to infusion therapy.Strong teaching skills with previous patient training experienceGood interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with infusion pumps and IV access devicesAccuracy in mathematical calculationsDemonstrated compliance with aseptic techniqueStrong pediatric peripheral IV skillsPreferred: RN’s who are certified CRNI

 

Education Requirements:Completion of accredited nursing programCurrent CPR Certification

 

Other RequirementsValid registered nursing license in all states of practice – specifically Kansas and MissouriValid driver’s licenseValid automobile insurance
