Company: Children's Hospital Boston Location: US-MA-Boston Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Project/Program Management Come join Children's Hospital Boston as an Injury Prevention Community Liason - Program Assistant!A new position is available for a qualified candidate to work closely with the injury prevention (IP) community liaison to further develop IP programs specifically in the following two areas: 1) to oversee the Children's Hospital, Boston inpatient car passenger safety program in collaboration with the Center for Families; and 2) be a community liaison to assist in organizing the community build playground project. In this role he/she would become a certified car seat technician and assist with community and hospital-based car seat checks. 3) other responsibilities would include participating inin-hospital injury prevention education seminars to other employees and staff. 4) he/she would also assist in evaluation of outcome measurements for injury prevention programs. A background in web design would also be desirable to assist in the further development of the Injury Prevention Program's Hospital-based website.Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. education level. Spanish speaking preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to teach patients, families and staff. Enjoys speaking in front of groups. Is self motivated and organized.
