Inpatient Pharmacists

Our pharmacists are responsible for:• Assuring safe, efficient, cost effective drug therapy for all patients• Providing clinical drug information to meet the needs of the customers, including physicians, nurses, patients and other healthcare professionals• May participate in the training, orientation and education of staff Qualified candidates must have a Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and a current WA State Pharmacy license. The ability to accurately check the compounding of IV admixtures, HA solutions and other parenteral drugs, manufactured items, unit-dose medication and outpatient prescriptions is essential. Must have the ability to exercise sound professional judgment and use initiative consistent with knowledge of clinical drug use and patient safety. A minimum of six months of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Swedish employees are also among the highest-paid health-care workers in the Seattle area.
