Vinfen is a non-profit human service agency that provides services to adults with psychiatric and developmental disabilities. Our missions to to transform the lives of individuals receiving our services. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals interested in working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm in a variety of day programs serving adults with varying levels of developmental disabilities.

All of these positions are full-time, Monday-Friday with weekends and holidays off!


Instructors

Working with adults with Mental Retardation or Developmental Disabilities, instructors provide assistance in the implementation of vocational and academic programs as well as assisting with Activities of Daily Living. Assist in the daily implementation of individual service plans and recommended clinical plans. Staff will provide support to persons served and assist in case management responsibilities in workroom setting. Ideal candidate is able to handle difficult behaviors and multi-task. In addition we are looking for people who are interested in actively working toward community integration of persons served through outings, volunteer opportunities and the development of friendships.

Candidates must be energetic, caring, and team players. Must also have strong communication skills. Persuasive, collaborative skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team and ability to provide a positive role model are a plus.

All applicants must have had a current, valid U.S. Driver's License for at least 1 year. All applicants must be able to become MAP, CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certified within 90 days of employment.
