Based in Garland, on the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard, Senior Care Consultants/SCC is a locally owned and operated company. Established in 1978, we own and operate 15 Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities located throughout the North Texas area.  We have a current opening for an experienced insurance billing specialist to be based in our Corporate office. 

Qualified applicants should have 2-5 years applicable previous work background in this area in addition to knowledge of insurance collection procedures, primary payers, MSP guidelines, Medicare supplement policies and Medicare Advantage plans. Experience in pre-certification and re-certification with HMO’s, PPO’s and other third party insurance. Should demonstrate proficiency with insurance/medical terminology, insurance AR management/review, in addition to proven background in auditing and adjusting accounts. Familiarity with electronic billing, and strong communication skills to interact and build relationships with facility office managers, Medicare reimbursement staff, insurance providers plus patients and family members. Successful candidate will possess strong and reliable work ethic, ability to multi-task and be organized, meet deadlines and exhibit an interest in career growth.
