Job Summary: The Insurance Follow-up Representative's responsibility is to reduce outstanding insurance due balances accurately and in a timely fashion to ensure a positive cash flow for the regional healthcare systems.

Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Must have medical terminology. Thorough understanding of various insurance plans, government agencies, Medicare and Medicaid. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years relevant experience, thorough knowledge of third party billing requirements, including insurance follow up, strong data entry skills, strong PC and mainframe computer skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, goal oriented and enjoy a fast paced environment. Commitment to exceptional customer service is a must.

Skills: Basic computer knowledge. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
