A medical group in Canton needs a Insurance billing specialist to join their growing team!

 

This company has more than 30 years experience in the Stark county area.  They offer everything from evaluation to rehabilitation! Everything is designed and will be developed around their patients!!

 

 

Job DescriptionReview insurance EOBs for correct payments / adjustments Post insurance payments / adjustments Review billing for accuracy, apply modifiers as appropriate, verify diagnosis coding accurate, verify correct procedure coding / procedure combinations Billing corrections / corrected claim submission File secondary / tertiary claims Appeal insurance denials / underpayments / incorrect payments via phone, mail, internet Identify insurance overpayments and submit for refunds / retractions Send letters to patients regarding insurance issues, i.e. information requests Review A/R – verify claim receipt, rebill, appeal Incoming patient calls regarding insurance issues and balance due; statement and collection letter calls Set up Budget payment plans Provide surgical estimates and payment options Meet with patient in the office to discuss the details of their account Insurance verifications Order of benefits determination Back up precertifications for clinical assistants while in office

Must have medical billing experience

 

Offer

M-F 8am-5pm

$10.00-11.00/hr
