Intake Representative - Healthcare

What you’ll do:

 

You’ll receive, screen and respond to requests from patients, families, providers, physicians and other callers for medical utilization management reviews.  You’ll enter information into the web-based data system, refer callers to internal and/or external resources as necessary, and instruct and educate callers when reviews are not required. 

 

What you’ll bring:

 

You’ll have a high school diploma or GED plus two years of customer service experience, including at least one year of experience with medical diagnostic and procedural as well as DRG coding.  You also have strong proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook and at least two years of data entry and word processing experience.
