Intake Specialist

Rogers Memorial Hospital, the leader in Behavioral Health Services,  is currently recruiting for the following positions to join our hospital both Oconomowoc and Milwaukee locations:



-Full Time Intake Specialist (2nd shift at our Milwaukee campus)
-Pool Intake Specialist (Oconomowoc and Milwaukee)





Summary:
The Intake Specialist performs the duties of patient administration. She/He collaborates with members of the health care team to promote continuity of care and cost-effective practice patterns.

Education/Training Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences is required, with experience in insurance procedures in a health care setting preferred.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
3. Experience with computers and demonstrated proficiency with software programs.
4. Working knowledge of managed care environment, procedures and criteria.
5. Knowledge of psychiatric clinical criteria.
6. Familiarity with managed care and reimbursement system process. Previous hospital utilization review experience is required
