Inventory & Merchandise Assistant

Eye Care Associates, a leader in private practice optometry and a 2007 Triangle Business Journal "Best Place to Work" (TM) has an opening for an Inventory Control Assistant in our Raleigh management office. This is a new full-time position with benefits that will begin with 32-35 hours a week and is expected to eventually offer 38-40. Some local travel required to our 15 offices. Occasional evenings and weekends required to accommodate inventory scheduling. Optical background is a plus! Position requires strong computer literacy and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with Excel. Position will support 3 different departments, so a multi-tasking pro who is able to "shift gears" with ease has an opportunity for much success!

Responsibilities include:

* Maintaining current inventory (contact lenses, frames, Rx lenses) in computer system

* Generating reports as needed

* Assisting Frame Buyer, Systems Coordinator, and IT Manager on various tasks and projects

* Working with accounting and insurance departments on third party price changes and programming

* Administering Patient Rewards program

* Data-entry of new products to inventory system

* Pricing adjustments as necessary

* Troubleshooting and quality assurance of pricing and inventory

* Quarterly inventory analysis

* Prepping merchandise for new office openings

* Distribute products to offices
