Kaiser Permanente is proud to be an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.  DEPARTMENT:  CDRP SCHEDULE: Part-Time Regular, 32 hours per week, Variable Shift.Schedule to be dependent upon operational needs. EDUCATION: Masters in Human Services or Masters in Social Work LICENSE/ CERTIFICATION: LCSW/MFT National Provider Identifier (NPI) required. QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer skills. Experience working with co-occurring illnesses (Mental Health and Substance Dependence). Two years post Masters experience in the use of psychosocial assessment and psychotherapeutic methods and measures in a hospital, clinic or agency. Experience providing substance abuse treatment groups and individual counseling. Knowledge of clinical and ethical regulations. Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to a diverse population with alcohol and drug problems. Experience providing case management services, training and consultation to physicians and nurses and have excellent organizational and creative skills. Must be willing to work in a labor-management partnership environment. Please note: Any qualified candidates at MFT (job code 963007) or LCSW (job code 963010) can be hired for this position. DUTIES: In all interactions with patients, members, physicians, staff and visitors; demonstrates service-oriented behaviors that include culturally sensitive good manners, respect and polite communications. Demonstrates openness to creative and innovative approaches to providing service. Conduct confidential interviews, psychosocial assessments and interventions for individuals who have problems with alcohol and other drugs. Develop and conduct substance abuse groups. Provide case management including development of relationships with community agencies. Provide presentations, training and consultation to physicians, nurse, social workers and ancillary staff. Serve on local and regional substance abuse task force.
