LPN-Adolescent Detox

Program Overview:

CHL's MYR (Motivating Youth Recovery) Program is an acute in-patient program providing a therapeutic milieu setting for adolescents who are detoxing and stabilizing from substance abuse. The program is the only one of its kind in the state of Massachusetts providing these services to adolescents. The program utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of service providers, including nursing staff, clinicians and direct care staff to provide services.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

PT (16hrs/wk) LPN to:


• Provide patient assessments and screenings.
• To assist with patient intakes.
• Implement detox protocols.
• Dispense medications.
• Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with and contribute to multi-disciplinary treatment planning.


 

 

Qualifications:

 

HSD/GED required. Associate's degree preferred
• MA LPN license required.
• Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in detox setting required.
• Previous experience with pediatrics and/or adolescents a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
