LPN Therapy Leader

1.   Responsible for the practice of nursing according to the Rules and Regulations defined in the State of Maine Nurse Practice Act and the Compact State Nurse Practice Act.



2. Responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of patient and family education by phone related to Hepatitis and/or Oncology, medication administration and side effect management.

 

3. Responsible for addressing spiritual, emotional and educational needs of patients and families during medication therapy.

 

4. Responsible for assisting in the incoming Hepatitis and/ or Oncology phone inquires regarding new enrollments and medication refill coordination. 

 

5. Responsible for assisting in the management of Prior Authorization requests for multiple insurance plans.

 

6.    Responsible for assisting in the management of monthly statistical data of patient compliance, quality and intake  

7.  Responsible for assisting in Sales and Marketing of services provided by Ascend Specialty Pharmacy.

 

8. Experience/Concentration in Oncology and Hepatitis Preferred



Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Language/Communication Skills

Affective written and oral communication skills required

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills and dose calculation skills required

Reasoning Skills

Ability to reason and prioritize tasks required

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word required

Certificates/Licenses/Registration

Licensed LPN in the state of Maine or one of the Compact States
