Licensed Vocational Nurse: Full time, part time & per diem day and evening


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in administration of medications and the legalities involved with dispensing medications on a psychiatric unitProvides safe care and management of patients on an ongoing basisAdheres to working responsibilitiesMaintains required professional licensure and mandatory educationProvides and documents patient and family educationDemonstrates the ability to adapt to changes in workload; uses time productively and meets deadlinesDemonstrates knowledge and proficiency with medical and nursing equipment and suppliesReports any abnormal findings to the charge nurse, physician and/or RNIs familiar with general environmental and patient safety practices and reporting proceduresDemonstrates knowledge of Patient Rights and LPs regulations


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Graduate of an accredited LVN programCurrent State of California LVN LicenseOne year of experience in Behavioral Health CareCurrent Management of Aggressive Behavior (MAB) Certification
