Lab Assistant - Laboratory

As part of an effective health care work force team, the Laboratory Assistant performs duties in two of the areas listed in this job description. The laboratory Assistant is responsible for an efficient flow of specimen collection, processing, technical and clerical tasks in the laboratory.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent with strong science background required, AS or BS preferred. Computer skills and laboratory test/medical terminology required. Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to set appropriate priorities. Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and make sound decisions based of facts.
